Veteran Training Programs - Financial Aid Available

NDT Consultancy Services Inc., Houston, Texas, is an approved Career School and College under Chapter 132 of the Texas Education Code. It is also approved to train veterans and other eligible persons under Title 38, United States Code's provisions for the following Non-Destructive Testing programs: .  

1. Radiology Inspector Program A  – 200 Hours (5 Weeks)

2. Comprehensive NDT Package – 452 Hours (11 Weeks)

3. Diploma in Total Quality Management with Radiology Inspector Program – 480 Hours (12 Weeks)

4. Diploma in Total Quality Management with Comprehensive NDT  Program – 800 Hours (20 Weeks)

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program:

NDT Consultancy Services Inc. is approved under the WIOA program to offer the above training programs. Texas Workforce Solution (Gulf Coast Area) provides financial aid to eligible candidates.

Veteran Chapter 31[Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E)]:

NDT Consultancy Services Inc. is an approved School to train veterans under Chapter 31 and help them in their employment. We support veteran employment programs that help veterans move from military service to civilian jobs. Any veteran interested in veteran training programs and NDT career development should find out their eligibility at the Veterans Commission Office near them. Our Veterans rehabilitation program is structured to suit each person by using strategic and practical methods.

Veteran Training Program:

NDT Consultancy Services Inc. is approved to train veterans and other eligible persons under provisions of Title 38, United States Code, for the above programs. We provide honest, meaningful opportunities for their growth and success through our targeted veteran training programs and veterans rehabilitation program at NDT Consultancy Services Inc. that recognize their unique experiences and skills in various industries. Through our veteran employment programs, we give veterans not only education but job placement support and career counseling. 

We accept veterans in the following chapters:

Chapter 30: Montgomery GI Bill ®  Active Duty  

For a veteran or serviceperson who initially entered active duty on or after July 1, 1985, and contributed to an education fund. In some instances, those with Chapter 34 eligibility may become eligible for Chapter 30 after December 31, 1989. The Chapter 34 program was for those entering active duty before January 1, 1977, and the Chapter 34 program ended on December 31, 1989.

Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation 

VA Vocational Rehabilitation determines the number of months. Under this chapter, our veterans rehabilitation program helps in address issues with veterans education and employment. As part of our veteran employment programs, we also work with employers to connect veterans to job openings in technical fields like NDT.

Chapter 32: Post-Vietnam Era Educational Assistance   

For a veteran or serviceperson who entered service after December 31, 1976, and contributed to the VEAP fund while on active duty.

 

Chapter 33: Post 9/11  G.I. Bill ® 

A more in-depth program to provide educational assistance to a member of the Reserve components called or ordered to active duty for at least 90 days in response to a war or national emergency (Contingency operation as declared by the President or Congress). Individuals in this chapter are eligible for our veteran training programs and veterans rehabilitation programs which help them achieve their long-term career ambitions.

Chapter 35: Dependents Education Assistance (DEA)

Veterans’ dependents, spouses, and surviving spouses are eligible if they have been approved by the Regional Processing Office (RPO). These individuals may also be eligible for career support through our veteran employment programs.

Chapter 1606: Montgomery GI Bill ® Reserve Services 

For members of the Selected Reserves who were entitled, reenlisted, or extended enlistment for at least six years on or after July 1, 1985. Training under this chapter may include veteran training programs specifically designed for reservists transitioning to civilian careers.
