Course Duration:     1 Days (8 Hours)                                                                                                   Course Fees:     $750

Objective:
Bubble Leak Testing - Immersion Leak Technique - Level I & II, Classroom NDT training course is developed to meet the requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP -189 and other equivalent standards and customer specific written practice for training and certification in this method of Non-Destructive Testing personnel. After completion of Bubble Leak Testing - Immersion Leak - course, you will get in-depth knowledge of Vacuum Box Technique principles, equipment, and application of Immersion Leak Technique to test various product forms.

Training Examination & Certification Requirement:

During this Bubble Leak Testing - Immersion Leak Technique training classes, you will give examination in General theory, Specification, and Practical. You are required to successfully pass these three examinations with minimum of 70% grading in each examination and average grading of all three examinations should be 80% minimum as per the requirement of ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2016.

OJT Hours: As per requirements of ASNT SNT-TC-1A, you need to have a minimum of 38 Hours on-job training (OJT) after completion of training classes for certification in this method.

Basic Principle of Bubble Leak Testing - Immersion Leak Technique

In Bubble Leak Testing (BLT), a gas pressure differential is established across a pressure boundary to be tested. A test liquid is then applied in contact with the lower pressure side of the pressure boundary. Gas leakage through the pressure boundary can then be detected by observation of bubble formed in the detection liquid at the exit points of leakage through pressure boundary. This technique provides immediate indications of the large leaks, 10-3 to 10-5 Pa.m3.s-1 or (10-2 to 10-4 std.cm3.S-1
