Program Description:

These programs of instruction prepare individuals for entry-level jobs as NDT Technicians/Inspectors/Engineers. Graduates may find suitable employment in the oil and gas, petrochemical, offshore structural, shipbuilding, pipeline, and aviation industries. Students will learn to inspect plate, welding, casting, forging, and other materials extensively used in pressure, heavy load, high temperature, or corrosive environments.

The main objective of this training is to gain in-depth basic theory knowledge and familiarity with equipment and techniques used to check the integrity of the material being tested. The trained and certified individual will perform NDT according to various codes and standards.
