Program Description:

These program of instruction prepares individuals for entry-level jobs as NDT Technician /Inspector/Engineer.  Graduates may find suitable employment with oil and gas, petrochemical, offshore structural, shipbuilding, pipeline industries, and aviation companies.  Students will learn to inspect plate, welding, casting, forging and other material extensively used in pressure or heavy load or high temperature or corrosive environment.

The main objective of this training to get in-depth basic theory knowledge, familiarity with the equipment and techniques used to check the integrity of the material being tested. The trained and certified individual will perform NDT as per various code and standard.  Job skills that individuals will learn will make them capable of doing various NonDestructive inspections independently.

In this program, individuals will be trained as NDT Level I & II in the non-destructive testing methods such as Liquid Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Visual and Optical Testing, Ultrasonic Testing and Radiographic Testing methods and this program will give 224 Hours of credit after completion. 

 NDT Technician Training Programs (224 Hours) Included of :

  1. Magnetic Particle Testing (24 Hours) 
  2. Liquid Penetrant Testing (16 Hours) 
  3. Visual and Optical Testing ( 24 Hours)   
  4. Ultrasonic Testing ( 80 Hours) 
  5. Radiographic Testing ( 80 Hours)

Admissions Requirements:

Individuals applying for this course are required to:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age (applicants under the age of 18 require written permission from a parent or legal guardian in order to enroll); and
  2. Present proof of secondary education (a minimum high school diploma or GED certificate)
  3. No entrance requirement to attend this program.

Training Examination & Certification Requirement:

During these course training, you will give examination in General theory, Specification, and Practical. You are required to successfully pass these three examinations with minimum of 70% grading in each examination and average grading of all three examinations should be 80% minimum as per the requirement of ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2016.
