Industrial Radiographer Training
This 40-hours basic radiation safety training is intended to meet State and Federal regulatory requirements for initial training to practice radiography with radioactive materials. This 40 Hours training course is held in 4 ten (10) hours days. An examination will be given at the end of the course. When completed the course, you will be working as a trainee by the State of TX and all NRC and agreement states.
Subject Description: Radiographer Radiation Safety classroom training course is developed to meet the requirements of 25 TEXAS ADMINISTRATIVE CODE §289.226 (Registration of Radiation Machine Use and Services, Texas Regulations for Control of Radiation) for personnel operating radiation-emitting devices. After completion of this training course, individuals are trained to handle X-ray machines and Gamma-Ray source carrying devices in the industrial application as trainees under a state-certified Industrial radiography/RSO.
